Job Description
Churchie Primary School Teacher - Visual Arts (Reception to Year 6) - Full-time, Fixed-term contract for Term 3 only, 2025
Reporting to the Head of Preparatory School, the successful applicant will be energetic and motivated staff member, keen to develop and deliver high quality teaching programmes within our Preparatory School of students from Reception to Year 6.
We want all our staff to develop professionally in a collegial and high performing culture, dedicated to supporting students to achieve academically, flourish as individuals, and become life-long learners.
Desired Skills and Experience
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Primary Education with classroom experience
Ability to lead effective curriculum and pedagogical development specific to boys’ education
Demonstrated ability at employing strategies that engage primary aged boys
Ability to work effectively within a team and build cooperative relationships with staff and parents
Willingness to support the spiritual, community and cocurricular life of the School
Current working rights for Australia
Applicants must hold (or be eligible to obtain) registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
