Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Faculty, the successful applicant will be an energetic and motivated staff member, keen to develop and deliver high-quality teaching programmes within our Senior School for students from Years 7–12, with a particular focus on Mathematical Methods.
This is a full-time role commencing in January 2026. We want all our staff to develop professionally in a collegial and high-performing culture, dedicated to supporting students to achieve academically, flourish as individuals, and become life-long learners.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to:
Demonstrate appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education with a specialisation in Mathematical Methods and relevant classroom experience
Show the ability to lead effective curriculum and pedagogical development specific to boys’ education and in keeping with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (preferred).
Demonstrate success in employing strategies that engage and extend students in Years 7–12, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Work effectively within a collaborative team environment and build cooperative relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Display a willingness to support the spiritual, community, and cocurricular life of the School.
Hold current working rights for Australia.
Hold (or be eligible to obtain) registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
