Job Description
Director of Volleyball. This role commences Term 3, 2026.
Seeking a passionate and dynamic Director of Volleyball to lead and grow our school's volleyball programme. The position is open to both non-teaching and teaching applicants. For suitably qualified candidates, a teaching load may be incorporated into the role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and coordination of supporting the volleyball coaches in creating a culture that promotes humility, respect and excellence. In doing so, they will demonstrate initiative in driving continuous improvement and inspire students to grow as players, teammates and young men of character.
Key requirements for this role include:
Extensive knowledge, experience and capacity in the Cocurricular area, particularly with regards to Volleyball (and other sports of specialisation)
Outstanding organisational and managerial skills in leading and developing teams, including teachers, coaches, students, parents and the broader community
Demonstrated ability to prepare required reports, including Sports Plans, reviews, surveys and annual reports.
Fulfil all administrative duties associated with running a cocurriular programme in a school setting, including reporting and discipline management.
Must have current work rights for Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, NZ Citizen)
Desired Skills and Experience
All staff at Churchie are expected to support the philosophies of the School, must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers or have a current Working with Children check (Blue Card).
