Job Description
Are you passionate about the great outdoors and inspiring young minds? We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Residential Assistants to complement our team! As part of our Vision Valley Team, you'll supervise our Year 9 students in residence.
What You'll Do:
offer professional guidance, manage potential hazards, and implement safety protocols
assist with organising logistics (meals, academics and compliance)
assist with supervising the students while in residence
Availability:
We would be keen to hear from candidates who can work in either Term 2, Term 4, or both preprogrammes.
Term 2 Program:
26 April - 22 May
Term 4 Program:
18 October - 13 November

Activities you'll assist with:
residential staff directly supervise the student lodges
shifts will be split AM and PM to ensure a good start to the day and a calm winddown in the evenings
The AM shift will include wake up, morning exercise, breakfast and rostered duties and conclude with a check-in / morning briefing
The PM shift consists of recreation, dinner, evening study and lights out
Qualifications:
A knowledge of or interest in education, more specifically outdoor education
Willingness to support the spiritual, community and cocurricular life of the School
Current working rights for Australia
Applicants must hold (or be eligible to obtain) a current and valid Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
