Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a School Term time (5 days week) Teacher Aide - Design & Technology to join our faculty.
The Teacher Aide will provide support to teachers and students across a range of workshops within the Design and Technology subject. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of materials and maintenance of equipment to ensure a safe learning environment for the students.
This role may involve:
Support students in the operation of woodworking machinery during practical learning
Setting up and operating industry standard machinery to prepare class materials
Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards
Manage and maintain all Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing equipment (CNC Mills, Laser cutters, 3D printer etc)
Assist teachers in the Design and Technology faculty where appropriate/ as directed by the Head of Faculty.
