Job Description
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Senior School, the successful applicants will be energetic and motivated, keen to develop and deliver high quality teaching programmes within our Senior School of students from Years 7 - 12.
We want all our staff to develop professionally in a collegial and high performing culture, dedicated to supporting students to achieve academically, flourish as individuals, and become life-long learners.
Daily supply, short and long term contracts may be available.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to:
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education with classroom experience
Ability to lead effective curriculum and pedagogical development specific to boys’ education and in keeping with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (preferred)
Demonstrated ability at employing strategies that engage Years 7 - 12 students
Ability to work effectively within a team and build cooperative relationships with staff and parents
Willingness to support the spiritual, community and cocurricular life of the School
Current working rights for Australia
Applicants must hold (or be eligible to obtain) registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
