Job Description
As a volunteer for Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) in East Brisbane, you will be part of the Performing Arts community, providing essential operational support for the programme. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to the development of the programmes operations and logistics. Responsibilities will include:
Assist with the coordination and organisation of Playfest events, trainings, and rehearsals.
Support coaches and the Playfest Coordinator with logistical tasks such as equipment setup, transportation, and team communication.
Collaborate with the coaches, parents and students to ensure smooth operations during trainings, rehearsals and performance.
Engage with students and liaise with parents in a supportive capacity to enhance their overall experience within the programme.
Upholding the values and standards of Churchie while representing the school during Playfest activities.
This volunteer position provides an excellent chance to be involved in the vibrant Performing Arts community at Churchie while making a meaningful impact on students' cocurricular journey.
Desired Skills and Experience
Passionate for supporting students' drama development.
Previous experience in logistics, operation/administration or event support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures related to events and performances
Availability to commit to the required season period
